Terry lives in Albuquerque NM where he graduated from the University of New Mexico receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He worked as Controller of the largest Title Company in Albuquerque beginning in 1983. Terry has personally been investing in cash flows for over 30 years, and is the founder and owner of First Financial Escrow, Inc., a company that provided servicing products for the real estate and finance industry. From there Terry started several businesses in, and associated with the real estate and financial industry. In 1997, First Financial started Sunwest Escrow where they acquired a large local bank’s escrow department. In 2004 Terry started Sunwest Trust, Inc. and began accepting Self-Directed IRA’s. Terry has over 30 years in accounting and finance as a business owner and investor. Terry is certified by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission to teach classes about real estate finance and IRA investing. In addition to being appointed by Governor Susana Martinez to serve on the Board of the New Mexico Finance Authority until June of 2016 he currently serves on the board of RITA (Retirement Industry Trust Association) Having been married to Sheila sense 1980 Terry has 3 boys, 3 daughters-in-law and 2 grandsons.
